We flew into Evenes Airport, and made our way by coach to the Fjord to pick up our safari boat.

Trawlers fishing for herring, the main source of food for the Orcas

This was the Sun at midday. They only get two hours of sunlight this time of year, however they get an extended twilight, which gives about 6 hours of light, including dawn and dusk.

After the safari we docked at Narvik where we had a tour of the war museum before taking a coach back to Evenes Airport for our return flight. On route we were lucky to see an aurora display.
